The Lord: "Do You Really TRUST Me?"

Although the Lord has used me in many ways; to reach many people over the years, I am by far, from perfect. In my ministry, I always share not only my testimonies, but my trails, my failures, and my rebukes. I do this because I always tell the people; "I don't want you to be like me, I want you to be better than me; I want you to be like Christ." I never want anyone to think that I am better then them, or that they must "honor" me. I am human, like everyone else; subject to failure and reproof. My calling in the office of a prophet does not make me "superhuman." However, it does put me in the spotlight of God, and weighs heavy in the balances of The Kingdom; it weighs heavy in judgement for not representing YHVH-God in the purest form. It's task is to forsake all, to turn the other cheek, and to walk alone.

With that being said; I will share with you about a time that I disappointed the Lord.

At the very beginning of 2014, I had been bugging the Lord to come and visit me. It had been months since I last saw Him. We talked all of the time, but after seeing Him so often, you kinda get spoiled. The funny thing between the Lord and I is that He would never come to me when I asked. He would always wait until my requests became quiet, and I returned back to my normal routine; then He would show up. Sometimes I would laugh and tell Him that I knew it was His way of letting me know that I was under His control. So this time was no different. I had been knocking at heaven's gate for about 30 days, and there was no answer. So I figured He was busy, or on a very extended lunch (just kidding), and decided to stop my pursuit. Well, about a week later, He showed up.

Jesus stood there in the most beautiful robe I had ever seen Him in. The material was like a combination of silk and satin. It was a beautiful white, and at the hems were a beautiful, deep red embroidery. He had on leather sandals; which was different for me because I usually see Him barefooted. I stood at His side with both of my arms wrapped around His waist. He had one arm around my shoulders, holding me close to Him. We began to talk spirit to spirit. We always had small conversations, because Jesus doesn't talk much. He showed me a map, and gave me a few instructions. Then He said; "There's just one more thing..." "What's that Lord?" I asked inquisitively. The Lord responded, "I'm going to show you hell." My heart instantly sank! "No Lord, please...please. I don't want to go!" I pleaded with Him. But Jesus just reached over and kissed me on my forehead and said, "Don't worry, I will be with you." Then we both looked to our left, and far away I saw something brewing...it looked like a tornado made of snow. The Lord said; "There is a blizzard coming. After the blizzard passes, I will come back for you." And with that, He vanished.

I told my husband and a few others about my visitation. I was so terrified, I spent every night praying that the Lord would change His mind. I whined, I complained, and had a complete meltdown like a two-year old. I was like; "Why do I always have to see the bad things? I've had more attacks, and seen more demons than probably anybody! Why can't you show me heaven? You haven't taken me there! I've read every book on hell, I listened to every testimony, I've looked at every video. I know hell is real! And I don't want to go there....not even for a visit!" Thoughts kept flashing through my mind of what Mary Katheryn Baxter went through; how she went through periods of getting left there. I didn't want that to happen to me! What if I had forgotten to repent of something that day, and ended up getting left there....forever?

About four weeks went by. Somewhere in between the period, the D.C metro area (where we were living at that time) got about 2-3 inches of snow. My husband asked; "Are you sure the Lord said a blizzard was coming? Or did he just say after the next snowfall?" "Nope, He said a blizzard was coming!" I responded.  And sure enough, at the fourth week, the blizzard came, and we got 3 feet of snow!

Every night after that snow, I cringed going to sleep. But the days, turned into weeks, and the weeks, turned into months, but Jesus did not return for me. Within that time, He was still showing me things and giving me prophesies. I was putting out videos, still teaching His word, ministering to people and leading souls into the Kingdom. Soon the thought of visiting hell faded. I was even asked by my aunt; "What ever happen regarding you visiting hell?" I giggled and said; "Girl, I think I prayed that one away!"

In August of 2014, I had the most spectacular experience! I was caught up in the spirit and taken to see the throne room of God (you can read about that experience in my notes titled; "My Throne Room Experience"). I shared that experience with everyone I knew! It brought great joy to my soul that the Lord had allowed me to see such a magnificent place.

Then in January of this year (2015), I was in deep prayer one afternoon. I had my tallit (prayer shawl) over my head, and the glory cloud began to fill my room. Immediately. like a movie being played, I saw the visitation of the Lord when He said He would take me into hell. "Oh my! I completely forgot about that! Lord, you never came back for me...why?" The Lord responded, "That so disappointed me, Mena. You tell me that you trust me with your very life. You believe me for your family, for yourself, and for those I send to you. But you did not trust me when I said I would take you into hell. You did not trust when I said I would be with you. You feared more the thing that I created and have all power over, than trusting me. Therefore, you trusted power of darkness more than light." I...was...stunned! I bowed my head to the floor in total shame and repented. "Lord..." I sobbed, "You waited a whole year to say something to me about this...why?" "Because now, you would receive it." the Lord responded. It was then that I realized that the Lord, even in His disappointment, had answered my very complaint and whine; He had allowed me to see heaven first. What an merciful, patient, loving, and gentle God! I felt like a worm, yet, I could still feel His love and patience for me. He had forgiven me.

I'm sharing this with you because I want everyone to evaluate the "true" measure of faith and trust you claim to have for the Lord. We're so quick to say with our mouths that we trust Him, that we'll forsake all and follow Him, even that we'll die for Him. But do we truly follow through? Or when we are faced with a situation that we're not sure of the outcome, do we deny Him? Peter said he would follow Jesus to the ends of the earth, but when the shepherd was stuck, the sheep scattered, and before the cock crowed, Peter denied three times that he even knew the Lord. We must understand that following Christ will require facing our greatest fears. He will place you at that crossroad, to see if you will chose to trust what you can or cannot see before you, or will you trust the one who gave you sight in the first place.

The Importance of Obeying The Lord (Adonai)

You know, it is so important that when the voice of the Lord speaks to you, that you listen. I think the most frightful thing I continue to encounter, is when people tell me that the Lord has given them a word, a warning,or confirmation before, or when they say; "God has been dealing with me on this..." and yet they still return to the very situation they were warned to leave.

We need to make sure that when the Lord SAYS; WE DO...Period. And stop making internal, sub-conscience excuses as to why you should stay, linger or casually withdraw yourselves. When you do this, I want you to understand that this is rebellion. And the bible states that Rebellion is as to witchcraft (1 Samuel 15:23).

The Lord sent me into a church a couple of weeks ago, to expose a couple who were operating as a false prophet (wife) and teacher (husband). I was invited by a lady who I am currently mentoring. She prayed and asked the Lord to send me, but she specifically told the Lord that He would have to tell me, because she did not want to ask. Well I didn't know this until the Spirit of the Lord pressed me to visit this church, and I called the lady and told her. Then she revealed to me what her prayer request was. This couple are not the leaders of the church, but had a leadership role. It was very powerful how the Lord used me to expose them (I won't go into detail due to the length), and two days later, I spent several hours with the pastor over the phone. I had to rebuke her because first, she was out of the will of God. But in addition, she knew that something about this couple wasn't right, and yet she allowed them to have positions in her church. Her excuse was; "Well I thought maybe I could help them." But the fatal consequence of her "being nice" was that wolves entered into her fold, and the sheep were devoured.

The illustration I use in my ministry, and for those I mentor is this; If Satan rang your doorbell and said he had a box of thin mint girl-scout cookies, and you knew those were your favorite cookies in the whole wide world; would you say to yourself, "I'll let him in, I'll just plead the Blood of Jesus on him and my house." The answer is not just NO, but Heck-2-The-No! But yet we do this all the time with the vary people and situations that Satan is using and involved with. We're under the illusion that merely if someone is a "Christian" they can't be used by Satan, or when they are being used, it's okay because they're human. If the demons in that person is greater than your faith; RUN! And I say this because everyone doesn't know their authority in Christ; especially the babes. And we need not to underestimate Satan. He will sit in your church, preach from the pulpit, come to your house, call you on the phone, befriend you on Facebook, and on and on.

I was in a meeting with Benny Hinn about five years ago, and he had everyone in the room to stand up. He told us to look to our left and to our right, and we did. Then he said; "What I'm about to say will shock and upset some of you; but I must say it because it is the truth. Everyone you know is not going to get saved, and everyone you know is saved, is not going to make it in." It was then that I began to realize that you can't take everyone with you on your journey. And as the Lord calls you higher, you must follow His will; even if that means you must leave someone you care about behind. Everyone wants the anointing in their lives, yet we are not willing to count the cost. In order to qualify for the anointing, YHVH-God is looking for those who are not attached to people, the past or possessions. If you cannot walk away from these things as you are called, you will not qualify for the anointing of the Lord.

The Truth About Gog & Magog

Question: Is the war of Gog & Magog mentioned in Ezekiel 38, 39 the same as the one talked about in Revelation 20?

The answer is no. In ancient writings, including the Koran, you will find that Gog is referred to as a demon; some writings even indicate that Gog is Satan himself.

When we look at Ezekiel 38:2-3, in it's proper translation, Gog is referred to as a "chief spirit". Chief spirits are principalities, like what is told to us in Ephesians 6:12. We find the same type of evil spirit in Daniel 10:13; thus concluding that it is an evil spirit that rules over a territory or group of people.

Ezekiel 38:2-3 Now the word of the Lord came to me, saying,“Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the (chief) prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal, and prophesy against him, and say, ‘Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I am against you, O Gog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal.

Daniel 10:12-13 Then he said, “Don’t be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your request has been heard in heaven. I have come in answer to your prayer. But for twenty-one days the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia blocked my way. Then Michael, one of the archangels, came to help me, and I left him there with the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia.

In Ezekiel 39:2, we find that the Lord states he would not destroy all of them (i.e. the people driven by the chief spirit Gog), but that He would leave a sixth of them (this could be so that some would remain for the final battle). However when we come to Revelation 20:7-9, we are now talking about Satan being released after the thousand years, or millennial reign of Mashiach (Christ). The scripture states that Satan then goes out to the "four corners of the earth" to deceive the nations --called Gog and Magog; meaning everywhere.

Revelation 20:7-9 When the thousand years come to an end, Satan will be let out of his prison. He will go out to deceive the nations called Gog and Magog, in every corner of the earth. He will gather them together for battle, a mighty army, as numberless as sand along the seashore. And I saw them as they went up on the broad plain of the earth and surrounded God’s people and the beloved city. But fire from heaven came down on the attacking armies and consumed them.

In Ezekiel 38-39, it is referred to only a specific location, which characteristics matches the King of the North mentioned in Daniel 11, and all but a sixth are destroyed through disease and bloodshed. In Revelation 20 however, Satan brings people from all over the world to war against the one sitting on the throne (Christ). Here, the scriptures state that a consuming fire comes down from heaven and devours all of the people (none are left because it is the end); then Satan is cast into the lake of fire.

Not Every Christian Will Be Raptured...

Jesus Said; “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” Matthew 7:21-23

When Christ spoke of this, it was pertaining to the believer and not the non-believer. We know that unbelievers are not out there prophesying and casting out devils. But Jesus is letting us know that not everyone that professes him to be their savior will enter into the kingdom of heaven…or better yet, the Rapture.

Many Christians fail to realize that just because they read their bible and go to church, doesn’t mean they’re guaranteed a place in heaven (with an exception of those who had just accepted Christ; i.e."Babes in Chirst"). In today’s society, many churches are filled with hypocrisy, gossip, adultery, fornication, homosexuality, idolatry, compromise and greed; just to name a few. These very people are the ones sitting in church, praising God every Sunday. They even come in for bible study during the week, or maybe sing the choir or teach Sunday school. Or even worst, they are the very ones we listen to in the pulpit. The sad reality is; some of the very people sitting in church next to you are going to hell.

Jesus Said; “And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall grow wax cold.” Matthew 24:12

Notice that Christ keeps mentioning the word “iniquity”. There are two types of sins; transgressions and iniquities. Let’s define each one for a better understanding.

Transgression - a crime or any act that violates a law, command, or moral code.
Iniquity - a grossly immoral act; wickedness.

So in other words, transgressions are sins committed with action, or externally. Iniquities are sins committed within the heart, or internally. Christ accused these people of being workers of iniquities, not transgressions. This fits perfectly since the argument from them is what was accomplished on the outside. And because of iniquities, the love for Christ grows cold. Light and darkness cannot mix. Some Christians fail to realize that Christ is not a God that you work your way to heaven to be with; he is a God of heart.

The Lord Said; "I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings". Jeremiah 17:10

Christ also stated in Matthew that he never knew these people. Why is that? Well once we accept Christ as our savior, it is our duty to build a personal relationship with him. Just like you would get to know your spouse before you marry him/her or even an acquaintance before you would call them friend. In the same manner, Christ wants us to get to know him. The only way you can build a relationship with Jesus is by spending time with him. But a lot of us get so caught up in the everyday life, that we don’t take time out to get to know Christ. And yet we are quick to say that he is LORD of our life. “Lord” means master; which means we are his servants. How can you serve a master that you don’t find time for? How then would you know what he wants from you in order to please him? It’s not possible. A minister quoted; “We are so busy doing what we think God wants us to do, instead of what he told us to do”. Others think that they got it all together and “God knows their heart”, so therefore they don’t have to put forth the effort in prayer. This is not the right way of abiding in Christ or building a relationship with him. We must understand that we need Christ like a plant needs water. What happens when you don’t water a plant? It shrivels up and dies. The same thing applies with our walk with Christ. He is our living waters, and without him remaining in us, we’re as good as dead.

The Psalmist David said; "O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is". Psalms 63:1

"O Lord, the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed, and they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the Lord, the fountain of living waters". Jeremiah 17:13

One thing that will help guard us from iniquity is searching our hearts. Iniquities are sins that are committed deep within us. Most of the time they're sins from our past that took root, and we have not sought deliverance from it. Other times they are sins that have crept in the back door, so we haven’t paid much attention to it. Bitterness, resentment, pride, lust, envy, covetousness, anger and jealously are some examples of these sins. Iniquities will cause major disruption in your walk with Christ. These sins do not allow God to be God in our lives. Therefore our heart grows dark and we grow distant from the Lord. And when we grow distant from the Lord, he cannot affectively use us for his purpose. On the outside a person may still attend church, help others and quote scriptures, but on the inside their heart is dark and full of wickedness. Iniquities are defined as wickedness, and the bible says that the wicked will not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Jesus Said; “So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, and shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth”. Matthew 13:49-50

Make sure that you get to know the Lord. Time is extremely short and there is urgency in the spirit realm for those who are “lukewarm” to repent of their iniquities. Remember; no sin is too great the Christ cannot forgive, but in the same token understand that there is no sin that is hidden from God. Search your hearts and seek his face. Do not turn a deaf ear to what the Lord is saying.

Jesus Said; "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hears my voice, and opens the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.” Revelation 3:20-22

Jesus Christ loves you and his desire is that no one should perish. I pray this word is a blessing to you and food for your spirit.

Know The Times We Are In

I want everyone to understand the times that we are in. We are living in the last of "The Last Days." We are at the doorstep of the "End of The Age." Jesus commanded us to keep watch (Matthew 24:42-44), less the Son of Man comes as a thief in the night.

I am finding that more and more Christians are spiritually asleep. They are not aware of the signs of the times and they are not keeping an eye on the "fig tree" (Israel).

People are too wrapped up in church functions, prosperity, popularity, bills (yes, I said bills), getting a man or woman, retirement, or "not offending anybody" instead of bearing witness to the truth. And it is the "TRUTH" that will set you free.

Saints, your money is NOT going to save you, your religious routines are NOT going to save you. The government is NOT going to save you, the president sure as heck ain't gonna save you (or anyone else for that matter), your pastor is NOT going to save you, your mama and daddy praying for you is NOT going to save you! Only Jesus Christ (Yeshua), knowing Him, and enduring until the end is going to save you!

This isn't about race, denominations, theories, religious doctrines, or how long you've been saved. All Jesus cares about is; does He know you (not, do you know Him -Matthew 7:21-23), and are you bearing His fruit. He said the tree that bears no fruit will be axed down and thrown into the fire (Matthew 7:19).

We need to focus on what is important. Ask yourself this question; Do I have enough oil in my lamp? Am I producing the fruit of the Spirit? Is Christ TRULY first in my life?

People; The Rapture is real. The Antichrist is alive. War is coming. Time is running out.

Rearrange your life while there is yet still time. Jesus WILL soon return. Are you ready?

The Sheep and the Goats

But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit upon his glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered in his presence, and he will separate the people as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will place the sheep at his right hand and the goats at his left.

Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world. For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me…’

Then the King will turn to those on the left and say, ‘Away with you, you cursed ones, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his demons. For I was hungry, and you didn’t feed me. I was thirsty, and you didn’t give me a drink. I was a stranger, and you didn’t invite me into your home. I was naked, and you didn’t give me clothing. I was sick and in prison, and you didn’t visit me…’
~Matthew 25:31-43

This is one of the many popular parables of Christ; of which the majority of them start with; “The Kingdom of Heaven is like…” I decided a month or so ago to do a study on why are we compared to sheep and goats. So I wanted to first look at the natural behaviors and characteristics of these animals and then parallel them with scripture. What I found out was astonishing…

First, let’s talk about the sheep.

The first thing we think when we hear the word “sheep” is that they’re dumb! However, I have found this to be quite the contrary. The first thing that struck me in my studies is that sheep are dependant. They have to depend on the shepherd to protect and guide them to where food and water is. They learn very early on, the voice of the shepherd, and store it in memory as a voice matched with safety and provision. Sheep also have excellent hearing and vision which is greatly needed since they are classified as prey and are technically defenseless.

Christ is called “The Good Shepherd” and says that his sheep know his voice (~John 10:11, 27). In order to know the shepherd, you have to not only be looking for him, but listening for him as well. Sheep have excellent hearing and vision not so they can wonder off, but so they can hear and see the shepherd and therefore follow him. As Christians, we should make it a priority early in our walk to know the voice of God. In my ministry, I have come across so many leaders who have been in ministry half of my life (and I’m 31), and yet ask me; “How do you here God’s voice?” In Psalms 46:10, the Lord stated; “Be still and know that I AM God!” Even Elijah, when he went into the wilderness at Mount Horeb, realized that God was not in the whirlwind, nor an earthquake, or the fire, but in a still, small voice (I Kings 19:11-12). Well in order to hear God’s still small voice, you’ve got to have good (spiritual) hearing and you have to be looking for him.

Some other characteristics of sheep is that they are peaceful and social creatures. They tend to graze in sets of four or five, and will actually become agitated if they are separated from the flock. They will ban tightly together whenever a predator is near. This is done to possibly confuse the predator by it not being able to single one out. And if a sheep’s surrounding is disturbed, or if they sense that danger is near, it’s their instinct to move uphill, especially if it is a well-lit area.

All throughout the bible we see relationships; this is because YHWH-God is about relationship. However, the funny thing with us “Christians” is that the majority of us are either trying to fix everything by ourselves (because we don’t want nobody in our business…including God), or we’re associating ourselves with people that we have no business being with. And when I say relationship or association, I’m covering all grounds; friends, partners, church-buddies, homeboys/girls, associates, boy/girlfriends, and your family members!

So who or what is the right relationship? Well, let’s look at what Jesus said.

In Matthew 12:46-50, Jesus’ family came to one of his gatherings and wanted to speak with him. Someone interrupted Jesus to tell him that his mother and brothers were outside waiting for him. Jesus’ response was; “Who is my mother? And who are my brethren?” And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples and said; “Behold my mother and my brethren! For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.”

God wants us to be social creatures (just like sheep), but we need to truly have Godly relationships and/or group ourselves with Godly individuals. Hebrews 10:25 states; “And let us not forsake the assembling of ourselves together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of HIS return is drawing near.” The simple fact is; there is power in numbers! Even the Devil knows this (Matthew 12:43-45). Jesus said; “I also tell you this: If two of you agree here on earth concerning anything you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you. For where two or more gather together in my name, I am there among them.” (Matthew 18:19-20). So we need to assemble ourselves, and build relationships with sheep that are following The Good Shepherd; those who can hear the voice of the Lord and see in the spirit; those who are sober enough to discern when the devil is approaching. For it is with these sheep that you will begin to move uphill to safety, and where the light of the Lord dwells (He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High, shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. ~Psalms 91:1)

So if the way of the sheep will lead us to the Good Shepherd, and with Him, we won’t want of any good thing (Psalms 23:1); I would say that sheep are smarter than what they get credit for. What do you think?

To Be Continued…

I pray this fed your spirit

Bible Prophecy, The Number 11, & The End Times

So did you hear that the rapture is supposed to take place on May 21, 2011? There's a group of people predicting “The end of the world" on this day. On top of that, there is an earthquake prediction for Rome today, from a self proclaimed seismologist (Raffaele Bendandi) who has been dead for 30 years! Ok, maybe I'm making light of some of these things, but apparently Rome is not, and thus many people are taking off on this particular day, including the closing of some schools.
Now saints, once again, the word of God says; "However, no one knows the day or the hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows" (Matthew 24:36 NLT). But as I have said many times before, the word says we should know the season.

I enjoy deep biblical studies on prophecy and the end times. And the Lord has revealed many revelations to me through his Holy Spirit. This is something I know is not prominent in the churches today. In fact, most churches are not prepping the people for the return of the Lord. They’re too wrapped up in head count, church functions, building funds, offering plates and “Not Offending” the people. Therefore many Christians today are like the five foolish virgins mentioned in Matthew 25:1-13; not having enough oil in their lamps.

In my personal research of the scriptures (modern and Hebraic) and through my upbringing, I have learned that YHWH-God is a great mathematician. If you pay close attention to the bible, you wil find that numbers are very important to him and are completed in everything he does.

In my studies, I have found that the number 11 means; Judgment/Disorder. If ten is the number which marks the perfection of Divine order, then eleven is an addition to it, subversive of and undoing that order. If twelve is the number which marks the perfection of Divine government, then eleven falls short of it. So that whether we regard it as being 10 + 1, or 12 - 1, it is the number which marks, disorder, disorganization, imperfection, and disintegration.

Apparently, some of the worst disasters, manmade and natural have happened revolving around the number 11. I’ll list a few that have happened just in the last decade.

The World Trade Center attack was on September 11, 2001
Record European heat wave caused temperatures to reach 112°F on August 11, 2003The train bombing in Madrid, Spain was on March 11, 2004Bomb strikes several commuter trains in Mumbai, India on July 11, 2006Outbreak of the H1N1, is deemed a global pandemic on June 11, 2009Flooding and mudslides in Rio de Janeiro kill over 800 on January 11, 2011A 9.1 earthquake and subsequent tsunami hits Japan, killing over 14,000 and leaving 11,000 missing on March 11, 2011
Even in systems such as Astrology and basic Numerology, eleven is considered to be a master number that represents sin, transgression and peril.

On January 1, 2011, I went before the Lord (as I do every New Year) and asked him to show me in the scripture what would take place this year. The Lord gave me Jeremiah 11. In this scripture, judgment is brought upon Judah and Jerusalem for breaking God’s covenant. God promises that disasters will be brought upon the people, and their idols would not be able to save them. Only a week or so later, my mother (Annette Bridges) had an open vision of two kinds of whirlwinds. The Lord spoke to her and said that one represented tornados and the other represented hurricanes. He then proceeded with telling her that 2011 will be one of the worst years on record for every kind of disaster.

So far, five months into 2011, several records for natural disasters have been broken; from earthquakes to flooding. From tornados and snow storms, to massive animal dye-offs. Even things like the national debt and gas prices have reached all-time highs. And let’s not forget about the continuous unrest and historic rioting taking place all over the Middle East. Paul stated in 2 Timothy 3:1 that; "In the last days, perilous times will come". Well saints, We Are Here! The birth pangs are increasing and becoming more intense all around us. We must keep our robes washed and our sins under the blood. It is extremely important that we allow ourselves to be used as vessels of the Lord, in spreading the Gospel to the lost. Unfortunately, we live in the age of the Church of Laodicea, mentioned in Revelation 3:14-22; an age where Christians are blinded by religious routines and doctrines, instead of living and leading a life of forgiveness, deliverance, healing and discipleship. Therefore, many Christians will either go to hell or miss out on the rapture for simply doing nothing.

In Matthew 25:24-30 (NLT), Jesus stated;
Then the servant with the one bag of silver came and said; “Master, I knew you were a harsh man, harvesting crops you didn’t plant and gathering crops you didn’t cultivate. I was afraid I would lose your money, so I hid it in the earth. Look, here is your money back. But the master replied; “You wicked and lazy servant! If you knew I harvested crops I didn’t plant and gathered crops I didn’t cultivate, why didn’t you deposit my money in the bank? At least I could have gotten some interest on it.” Then he ordered, “Take the money from this servant, and give it to the one with the ten bags of silver. To those who use well what they are given, even more will be given, and they will have an abundance. But from those who do nothing, even what little they have will be taken away. Now throw this useless servant into outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
Saints, in this final hour before Christ calls his bride home, let’s make sure we are sold-out for Lord and truly following the example Jesus displayed for us. Jesus came down from heaven and led a humble life. He taught, he served, he forgave, and he helped. He healed, he believed, he endured and he LOVED. The greatest words you can ever here is; “Well done thy good and faithful servant…” Make sure you’re on that list. I pray this fed your spirit.
