was in our ministry training.

But let me go back about six months…

Last summer, a young lady discovered the ministry and decided
to call our prayer line. She was assigned to one of our prayer team members and
through ministry, she rededicated her life to Christ. A few weeks later, my
assistant and I went to her home to baptize her. Through the unction of the
Holy Spirit, she was given further instructions to strengthen her prayer life
and relationship with the Lord.

The young lady started participating in our online bible
studies, came to our High Holy Days conference, and enrolled in our Disciples
of ACTS ministry training.

When I began our fourth installment of our Disciples of ACTS
in August (2022), I sensed deeply that this class would be different. First, it
was my first class that was all female. Secondly, this group had a zeal like no
other I had taught in the past. I knew God was doing something different.

The ladies quickly banded together; partnered off to assist
each other with notes, prayer, and encouragement.

In early December, the young lady we baptized received grave
news regarding her health. She first informed one of the ladies she partnered
with in class, who in turn, reached out to the entire group petitioning prayer
for her recovery.

The student was in the hospital at the time, and the ladies
pitched in and sent flowers, cards, encouraging texts, along with daily phone
calls to check in.

After ten days in the hospital, my student was sent home on
hospice.

From that point, myself and my assistant took over and we visited
her at home. Some days we prayed, listened to worship music, and just talked. Other
days, I spoon-fed her soup to make sure she had nutrients, and offered to comb
her hair. I made it a purpose to keep peace around her. She was also the mother
of a toddler.

I prayed, called my staff members to pray, contacted prophets
to pray, and I was listening for an answer from the Lord; but He was quiet. None
of us received a word of what His will was, and I had never experienced this
before.

When I visited my student once she was home on hospice, I said
to her; “I’m not sure what the Lord’s will is for this situation: whether He
will heal you or decide to take you home. But either way I promise to be here and
we’ll take it one day at a time.”

And so, that’s what we did.

After the first week, she seemed to get better; she grew
stronger. She came off her oxygen and was determined to get out of bed. We had
weekly goals that we prayed about, and she was meeting them; all the way down
to her diet. One day I came by and she was ordering a turkey burger, and I was
elated. However, after three weeks since being sent home, I spoke to her one
morning, and by that afternoon, she was gone.

Four days after she passed, I was sitting in my tub, trying
to process everything that happened. I’m one who deals with death different
than most; I always have. I’ve never been one to get overly emotional. I
understand death: I understand that this life is not our destination. But since
we were all unclear of what the Lord’s plan was for her, I hoped for a healing. I had
asked the Lord to let me fight for her. But instead, He took her. So there I
was sitting in my tub, with my face in my hands, and I asked the Lord, “Did I
do enough? Was it something I missed in prayer, Lord? Did I not fight hard
enough for her?”

The Lord responded, “You did well.”

When I broke the news to my class, most of the ladies took
it pretty hard; after all, they too were hoping for a testimony.

However, the Lord revealed a truth: this WAS a testimony,
and an incredible one.

The Lord spoke to me again on another day and quoted; “Unless a
grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it
dies, it produces much grain (John 12:24).”

I understood this scripture was pertaining to Christ’s death
when He spoke of it, but I didn’t understand how this related to my student.

“I will explain…” the Lord continued.

“I took her for two reasons…” The Lord explained the first,
but I’m not at liberty to make it public.

“The second reason is her death became a seed, and it was
planted in each of those students who prayed and cared for her in your class. This
is what it means when I said, 'when you do this unto the least of these’. This is how
My true church is to operate. I AM not interested in popularity, public events,
and platforms. I AM only interested in the matters of My Father’s heart.”

“The souls” I responded.

“Yes, the soul” Jesus said.

I explained this to my class.

This I what it means to be the hands and feet of Jesus. It’s
not about church buildings, denominations, ordinations, subscribers, nor views.
It’s about being an effective witness of Jesus Christ. Sometimes that means reaching
one person at a time, and sometimes that will mean in secret.

In all things, we must
remember that His ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are higher than our
thoughts. We can find God in everything; because He owns everything. There is a lesson in all things; in every circumstance. We only need to submit to the will of the Holy Spirit, and he will teach us.

The Lord saw it fit to use my student's death to produce fruit in many. There are times when God's purpose is to receive honor in our life, but there are times when His honor requires our death. But in all things, the Apostle Paul reminded us that to be absent in body is to be present with the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:8).

Spiritual Food For Thought

Shalom
Mena Lee Jones
Faithful Walk Healing Ministries

Prophets R.L and Mena Lee Joneshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08673896795261436671noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5828762479945910042.post-27800282151665156652022-06-01T10:28:00.006-07:002022-06-01T12:08:51.633-07:00The Garden...

I would like to share an experience I had with the Lord and the warning that came with it...

I saw Jesus in a garden. It was His garden. He was bent over in the right corner of the garden, and He was working intensely; pulling up plants and placing them into a pile to His left. I was observing all of this from a distance.

He continued for awhile before acknowledging that I was watching from behind. I studied the roots of each plant in the pile.

"They're white, Lord" I responded.

As I said this a wind began to blow. The pile of dead shrubs began to roll and were tossed away with the wind.

The Lord said, "The winds of change are here. That which is dead will be uprooted and carried away like tumbleweed."

My vision then ended.

Several days later, the Lord starting speaking to me about the vision.

"Do you remember the dried plants that you witnessed Me pulling up?"

"Yes, Lord. They all had roots, but they were dry."

The Lord then took me back a few years ago when I went away to fast and pray. I stayed at a beach in Florida. The Lord summoned me one morning, at dawn to come walk with Him on the beach. There, He spoke to me about the importance of flowing water. He taught me that only flowing water can contain life; stagnant water could not.

I was pondering how the Lord was relating the current vision to the time at the beach.

"You love plants Mena..." He continued.

"I do Lord!"

"So tell Me, if you have an established plant, and you don't water it for a day, will it die?"

"No Lord" I responded.

"If you wait a week, will it die?"

"Not usually, but it may begin to wither" I said.

I thought about an Himalayan vine I had for several years. Whenever I left the country to go minister, my kids, who were still at home at the time, would forget to water it. By the time I would return, the vine would always be withered and on the brink of death. Yet somehow, when I'd water it again, it always bounced back the next day. I named the plant Lazarus because of this.

Jesus continued, "In order for roots to become completely dry, to the point of death, one must have gone without watering for an extended amount of time."

I agreed with what He was saying.

"Warn my children! This is a season of sifting, shifting, and separation. There are those who were once rooted in Me, but now they have allowed iniquity (hidden sins; i.e. sins of the heart/emotions, wickedness) and the treasures of the world to stop the flow of Living Waters. They must REPENT and turn their face towards me once more. For that which no longer contains Life will be plucked up and in the end, cast into the fire. I AM the Living Water."

I want to add that a garden is a place of decision. It symbolizes a crossroad of life or death. Mankind began in a garden, but they chose to satisfy the flesh instead of the spirit, which produced death. Four thousand years later, Jesus came to the same crossroad in the garden of Gethsemane, but He chose to face death so that we can obtain life.

What will you choose in the garden?

Shalom

Mena Lee Jones

Faithful Walk Healing Ministries

Prophets R.L and Mena Lee Joneshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08673896795261436671noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5828762479945910042.post-2057208638402320842021-08-24T06:42:00.005-07:002022-09-08T06:11:32.341-07:00When God Calls You To Move Off Your Block...

In Ecclesiastes 3:1 it reads,

"To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven."

The Hebrew word for season in this verse is z'man, meaning; an appointed occasion: a set time.

Z'man means an entire season, verses the Hebrew word 'moed' (first seen in Genesis 1:14) which means the beginning of a season [appointed time].

One of the most important things I've learned in near fifteen years of ministry is that God will appoint seasons of change in your life. These new seasons will call one to come higher into the presence of God. But this is not associated with a mere feeling or spiritual encounter. That entire season is about refinement and obedience. And with each season, God will require you to shed another layer of flesh-seeking attributes.

With each new season, change will come. And that change will not always be comfortable.

In Genesis 12:1-3, God tells Abraham to leave his family and country to the land in which He would show him. But Abraham does something that God didn't tell him to do: he allows Lot to come with him.

Later on, Lot proves to be more of a hinderance than an asset, which leads to them going their separate ways.

There's a great lesson in that story. Simply put: everybody can't go with you in your new season.

There are times when God will call you to "move off your block." And when that time comes, just go; simply obey and don't look back!

Speaking of looking back, let's go back to Lot...

So after Lot and Abraham go there separate ways, the scriptures tell us that Lot and his family settled in the plains of Jordan, and pitched their tents in Sodom (Genesis 13:12). Sometime later, God renders judgement upon the Sodom and Gomorrah for their wickedness, but not before He sends two angels to tell Lot and his family to leave. They were given specific instructions: flee to the mountains and don't look back!

But as the story goes, Lot's wife had the desire to look back at what she was instructed to leave behind; and when she did, she turned into a pillar of salt (Genesis 19:26).

Second lesson: when God calls you into a new season, and you chose not to obey because you want to hold on to that which He's calling you away from, you will encounter spiritual (and sometimes even physical) death.

Throughout my years of ministry, I've encountered multiple seasons; seasons of abundance, and seasons of fasting. There were seasons which the ones who abode with me were no longer allowed to journey with me. Seasons where I had to relocate, was stripped of everything and brought to a new place with nothing. But then I would watch God open up His storehouses and provide for every single need, and I lacked nothing.

We as Christians should not find ourselves stuck in the same season, with the same prayers, same testimony, and hanging out with the same people year after year. If after ten, fifteen, twenty years of being saved, you're still sitting in the pew of some church, hanging out with 'Sister Johnson' or 'Deacon Davis' and your only testimony is "I thank the Lord for waiting me up this morning", then I have news for you my friend: You're spiritually dead.

Jesus Christ did not die on the cross to bring you out of darkness into the light, for you to spend that rest of your life warming a bench and passing an offering plate.

When we look at the God-called of the bible, we find that there was a constants of seasons, movement, and change. And as these men and women obeyed the instructions of the Lord, He brought them higher, and they were strengthened in their faith, love, and patience. Thus, they became examples for all; teaching us what it means to commit to the will of the Father.

So in this next season, when the Lord calls you to move off your block...just obey. And although it may require you to leave that house, job, city, state, or country; and even though you may have to say goodbye to friends, family, or perhaps your church; know that where God is taking you will bring forth a greater harvest. For in Him, the latter is always greater than the former.

Spiritual Food For Thought

Shalom

Mena Lee Jones

Faithful Walk Healing Ministries
Prophets R.L and Mena Lee Joneshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08673896795261436671noreply@blogger.com15tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5828762479945910042.post-80763326254582295032021-01-09T11:30:00.015-08:002022-09-08T06:11:08.233-07:00False Prophets & Unfulfilled Prophecies

As we roll into another presidency and unprecedented (blue)
government, I want to address what I know is plaguing many of the Christians’ minds:
“What happened with all the prophecies that Trump would win two terms?”

Before you start uploading a million and one videos on
who’s a false prophet, I want to educate you on prophecy itself and how it
works.

Most modern Christians base whether or not a person is a
true prophet on the scripture in Deuteronomy 18:22, which states;

“When a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if
the thing does not happen or come to pass, that is the thing
which the Lord has not spoken; the prophet has spoken
it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him.”

So, in the twenty-first century church, the basis of this
is, if someone speaks something and it comes to pass, then they must be from
God, and if it doesn’t come to pass, then one is deemed a false prophet.

Let me tell you why in this season, that is a dangerous
conclusion...

We are forgetting that Jesus, Himself, stated in Matthew
24:24-25, “For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great
signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. See, I
have told you beforehand.”

In other words, Jesus warned us that in the last days the
false prophets/christs would be so accurate and the signs would be so significant,
that if possible, even His chosen would be deceived. This is why in these days it is so important to test the spirit (of the person speaking) with the [Holy]
Spirit (who is the bearer of truth).

True prophecy typically falls into one of two categories:
conditional and governmental.

A conditional prophecy is one that is usually given to an
individual, group, or territory, and is contingent upon one’s execution of obedience
or disobedience to God. We find multiple examples of this throughout biblical
history. However, I will name two just so you understand my direction.

The prophecy of King Hezekiah’s death – Isaiah 38:1-5

Jonah’s prophecy of the destruction of Nineveh – Jonah 3

A governmental prophecy is one that is unconditional
because it was written in place before the foundations of the world. These are
God’s appointed times and seasons; which are set and cannot be changed. No
manner of fasting, praying, marching, or hoping can change what the Lord of Hosts
has set into play.

Again, they are many examples of these in the scriptures,
which include, but are not limited to the birth, death, and resurrection of
Christ, Israel being scattered and then restored, the resurrection of the dead,
the rise of the eighth kingdom (the beast and the false prophet), and the
second coming and millennial reign of Christ.

That being said, the prophecies regarding Donald Trump
were not governmental; which means that they were contingent upon the actions
or reactions of the president and the people.

When Trump got into office, many in the church claimed
this was a “reprieve” given, and a time when the lost could be reached, the
church could unite, and revivals could take place. Many prayed and fasted for
this season. However, once Trump was in office, the results were quite the opposite.
Instead of unity, evangelism, and revival, the American church became arrogant,
boastful, and divided. We saw brother rise against brother, segregation, defiance,
and racial tensions. Politics began being preached from pulpits while paralleled with the
Gospel, and Trump became a golden calf for many (not all).

It reminded me of when God told Moses, “Go down from
here, for the people who thou hast brought out of Egypt, have corrupted themselves.”
– Exodus 32:7

Even when the Lord warned that idolatry had taken place
in many hearts, the people snarled, scoffed, and even overtook the messengers by
verballing beating them down. I personally had several people come to me,
wounded from the vicious attacks made by those who were considered brethren.

In October, 2020, the Lord gave me a dream where I saw
Trump writing on a piece of paper, that because of something that transpired with
the ballots, he was “writing” to tell the people that he won the election and
would be president for four more years. At that point, I heard an outbreak
of chaos and violence from behind the scenes.

I took this dream to prayer and the Lord spoke “Ezekiel
14” to me. In this scripture, the Lord accused His people of “inquiring of the
Lord” to His prophets, with idolatry in their hearts. And the Lord stated that
because they would not repent of their idolatries, He would send them prophets
that would tell them exactly what they wanted to hear, only in the end, to
solidify their judgement.

Now, here we are. Trump has lost the election. And even
though one can reasonably argue that it was stolen, you have to understand that
not even Satan can execute without permission. So, in the end, the God who is
in control of all things, allowed this to happen. And the truth is, He told me
this would happen four years ago.

So, don’t pull out your false prophet list to add dozens
of names to it, although, many of these people did help to invoke the judgement
being passed upon the church. But simply put; God gave the church exactly what they
begged and shouted for the first time. However, in the end, God will not be
mocked; He will not allow His name to be trampled.

This is the judgement of the American Church. What was
prayed away in 2016 (by not getting Hillary Clinton), has returned in 2021.

But as I see it; the greatest outpouring always happens
during persecution and tribulation. I mean, just take a look at the
first-century church and their accomplishments. Oil and wine cannot be produced unless there is a
crushing.

The Lord is cleaning the threshing floor and purifying
His Bride because the Day of the Lord is at hand, and He is coming only for a
Bride that has made herself ready, and without spot or wrinkle.

Allow yourself to be purified in this final season. It
will not be easy, and your faith will be greatly tested. But know that we are
the generation that will see all these things spoken, come to pass. And the
ones who endure to the end, shall be saved.

Spiritual Food For Thought

Shalom

Mena Lee Jones

Faithful Walk Healing Ministries

Prophets R.L and Mena Lee Joneshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08673896795261436671noreply@blogger.com15tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5828762479945910042.post-28444551041540180342020-11-24T07:16:00.004-08:002022-09-08T06:11:52.474-07:00The Cost of Discipleship...

A certain scribe came and said to Him, "Teacher, I will follow You wherever You go." And Jesus said to him, "Foxes have dens and birds of air have nests, but the Son of Man has no where to lay His head." - Matthew 8:19-20

I just watched a four-minute video about a 73 year old homeless woman who had been on the streets since she was 13. She had lived a hard life; orphanages, drugs, violence, and various shelters. But then she met Jesus, and He changed her entire perspective of living on the streets. She was now content; not a single complaint, and she helped many. When the woman was asked what was her wish, she ended with that everyone would know Jesus like she did.

I've often said that most American Christians do not truly know suffering and persecution. Most have a roof over their head (even if temporary), electricity, a cell phone, running water to bathe, and some form of food. Yet we complain. We complain about not having more. We want bigger and better, and we are not content with what has been provided to us.

In the recent years, there's been a movement of Christians wanting God to "Bless this nation" simply so that they could hold on and add to their stuff. But there is a time coming, and that is now upon us, when "our stuff" will be stripped away. Then what will you have? For most, the answer is nothing. But for the old lady in that video, she already had everything, because she had Jesus.

When the Lord called me into ministry in 2007, He had me to sell everything, pack my car with three small children and drive across seven states to North Carolina. There, we lived in an apartment, in a not-so-great neighborhood, and ate and slept on the floor for at least six months. The Lord said, "I'm going to teach you to Bless My name for everything you receive." When I finally purchased a sofa set, the Lord then had me to open my home for bible study.

Eight years later, He stripped me again; this time of my career in the medical field. He said I was going to "work for Him" now, and when I asked about the bills, His response was, "Do you trust Me?"

Five years after that, I was stripped again; this time of my family, friends, and everything familiar to me. He said, "Set your face to the Son of Righteousness and do not look back."

I said, "Lord, I will follow You into the wilderness, even if that means alone, and I will preach to the serpent and the scorpion if that's what pleases you."

I'm sharing all of this with you because as Christ-followers, we need to understand the true cost of discipleship. We've been taught for years that following Christ means that He wants you to be happy: that financial increase, good health, big buildings, and private jets is a sign that you're in God's will and favor.

But this is all a lie.

We have to remember that the King of Kings was born in a barn, wrapped in rags, and laid in a feeding box. His first worshippers were poor shepherds tending to their flock at night.

This King later grew up to live and sit among the rejected, the despised, dirty, and untouchable, the drunkards, and whores, tax collectors, pagans, and the forgotten. Yet His arm was never too short, compassion filled His heart, and He taught, forgave, and healed them all.

But when the day was over and the sun had set, the Son of Man had no place to lay His head.

Later, the Apostle Paul wrote, "Not that I speak in regard of need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content. I know how to be abased and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." - Philippians 4:11-13

There is a season of testing coming (and it has begun); a season of hardship. Will you be able to pass the test? Will you love not your life, even unto death?

For those who are rooted in Christ, the wilderness will be a place of opportunity and refinement; a place to come up higher. But for those who still have Egypt in their heart, it will be a place of death.

Spiritual Food For Thought

Shalom

Mena Lee Jones

Faithful Walk Healing Ministries
Prophets R.L and Mena Lee Joneshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08673896795261436671noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5828762479945910042.post-56389010643794226052020-07-18T08:14:00.002-07:002022-09-08T06:13:20.806-07:00Walk in His Spirit...

In the dawning of the morning, the Lord spoke to me and said,

"I AM not looking for those who know my power, but for the ones who walk in My Spirit."

He then quoted Zechariah 4:6;

So he answered and said unto me, "This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: 'Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit,' says the Lord of Hosts.

Throughout the Old Testament, we see countless examples of YHVH-God's power. Through these manifestations, kings bowed, enemies retreated, walls crumbled, skies were darkened, the earth shook, and even the sun stood still. Because of this, many feared the God of the Israelites, and some even worshiped Him in hopes that this would bring blessings and peace upon them.

But by the time we get to the New Testament, we find a man by the name of Nicodemus who came to Christ at night, searching for the keys to heaven; and there, he was told that in spite of all the doctrines taught, the law-keeping, and demonstrations of God's power, unless one was born of 'water and Spirit' they could not enter the Kingdom of God (John 3:5).

Once we become born-again, we are now body, soul, and Spirit. That 'Spirit' which you were not born with the first time (because of the sin of Adam and Eve), is the breath (Hebrew: ruach) of the Living God that now dwells in you.

One of my favorite examples of this is in John 20:22;

And when He [Yeshua] said this, He breathed on them and said unto them, "Receive ye the Holy Spirit."

Note: This was the disciples "born-again" experience once Christ had died and resurrected, which is separate from the fire-baptism experience of Acts 2.

Now that we are body, soul, and Spirit, it is our duty to make sure that we are not lead by the flesh [body], but that we are lead by [His] the Spirit - which takes discipline. This is where the daily process of 'killing the flesh', and submitting to the will of Christ comes in. Our soul is the middle-man; meaning it will go wherever it is lead. So if we allow our flesh to lead, then sin will enter in and darken our souls. But if we allow the Spirit to lead, then our souls will be purified and we will walk in the light of Christ.

Leader vs Follower

From

Body - Soul - Spirit

to

Spirit - Soul - Body

As we accomplish total surrender to the Spirit of the Lord, we will draw closer unto Him. As we draw closer to Him, the less we will fall into sin. And the lesser we sin, the more we will walk in righteousness and holiness.

In Romans 8:14, the Apostle Paul wrote; "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the Sons of God."

In this season, the Spirit of the Lord is searching for those who are willing to walk in His Spirit. It is only through this that we will be able to survive and even escape the darkness and judgments that is upon the earth. By walking in Christ, we will not fall into temptation, we will not walk in fear, and we will not be overcomed by the evil one. In the end, we will be victorious!

In closing, I will leave you with this scripture;

"For the Spirit searches all things, yea, even the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so, no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit of God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God." - 1 Corinthians 2:10-12

I would like to share a revelation that my husband received the other morning...

While he was in prayer he heard,

"The stars of Babylon are fools in heaven. And those that are considered fools in Babylon are the stars of heaven."

When we first read this, our initial thought is attributed to the unbeliever, or even the "stars of Hollywood." But this doesn't just apply to those who are of the world, this also applies to those who are in the church that seek earthly promotion and man's approval. And although they may claim with their lips "not so", their actions reveal their inner most desires and motives.

Even some who claim to be watchmen find themselves involved in an eternal hustle for popularity, subscribers, "likes" on social media, purchasers of their products, bookings, platforms, and offerings.

But when we look at the life of Christ, we see that He lived the complete opposite of what the majority of the church promotes today. Jesus lived simply, loved simply, served simply, and more importantly, He gave all honor to the Father, and made no reputation for Himself (Philippians 2:7).

In biblical times, Babylon was known for its power, riches and beauty. The most prominent king of ancient Babylon was Nebuchadnezzar, who is mentioned in several old testament accounts from the Book of Daniel, to Ezra and 2 Chronicles. However, in the Lord's eyes, Babylon was a place full of idolatry, vanities, pride, and immorality. A disturbing fact is that when we view most of the western church today, we find some of the same characteristics within.

Revelation chapter 18 talks about the judgement and destruction of a woman called Mystery Babylon. There is much debate as to whether or not the scripture is referencing an actual place, or a spiritual system and mind set. The scriptures tend to argue both sides. In verse 4, we read that John hears a voice from heaven saying, "Come out of her my people, that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues."

As we draw closer to the end of this dispensation (age of grace), we as the true Bride of Christ need to make sure that we are not partaking in the sins of spiritual of Babylon. In a day and age where pretty much everything is at our fingertips, just one click away, we need to use wisdom and make sure our flesh is disciplined and subjected under the spirit of truth, and not falling into the temptations of the evil one. We also need not to look for man's approval of us, but God's. Remember, the world will hate you because it hates Christ and the spirit of truth.

Let us humble ourselves and find contentment (and our identity) in Christ.

Over the years I've obtained the discipline of being still in the presence of YHVH-God, knowing His voice and understanding what He requires.

Although Yeshua had visited me since I was a child, my adolescent years of rebellion that ran into my mid-twenties allowed my flesh to harden. So upon returning to the Lord after a ten-year wilderness trip, the first thing that had to be killed was my flesh.

I went through an intense two-year stripping, where my flesh had to be disciplined so that my spirit could come into daily prayer and feeding on the Word. Then after being told to sell everything, and move to Charlotte, NC where I knew no one, I was then placed in an additional three-year spiritual boot camp (as I like to call it), where now my faith and obedience was stretched, refined, and then refined again, before I was finally allowed to walk out in my calling as a prophet.

I'm sharing all of this to say that after years of operating an established ministry, I felt as though I had the "hearing God's voice" thing down pat. I had mastered keeping the fruit of peace in my home, I had my prayer closet, my own schedule of prayer time, or the freedom of whenever the Lord chose to speak, being able to be still and listen.

However, a few years ago, my household went through a major shift, and I found myself being thrown into a chaotic state. It seemed as though I could no longer reach the peace that I once had before. Now, my extra time was focused on household chores, bills, marriage, teenagers, and then to top it all off, I still had to run a ministry.

I was upset. I found myself looking to place blame on one particular event, or person. I had become spoiled. Well, perhaps "spoiled" isn't the right word. But I was use to being able to bathe in the presence of my Bridegroom whenever I wanted. Now that seemed to be a distant memory.

So I petitioned the Lord for an answer. Deep within my soul I was worried about somehow falling off the straight path because I simply had too much on my plate. Suddenly, the Apostle Paul's words became charming when he said, "I'd rather that you be like me.." in referencing to staying single so that one's focus can be only on the Lord.

But the answer I got from the Lord, I was not expecting...

He said, "You've learned how to be still before me; you've learned how to quiet your spirit so that you can hear my voice. You've done well. But now I am teaching you how to hear me in the chaos, so that you don't loose focus in the storm that is coming."

I was stunned. I remember pondering on this for many days. But I knew I was being challenged on a new level, spiritually, and I was determined to come out victorious.

Part of maturing spiritually is going through continuous seasons of refinement. We must remember that no one has "arrived" until we are in heaven sitting at the marriage supper of the Lamb. Until then, we will be faced with daily challenge of killing our flesh, and allowing the Lord to cultivate our souls as He molds us into what He has called us to be.

2018 has been a challenging year for many. The Lord gave me a word in January that this would be a year of mourning (the loss of life), refinement and separation. And just in my personal life alone, and within our ministry, this has held true. But within it all, I've not lost my ability to hear the Lord, or to find peace, even in the midst of the storm.

2019 will bring more challenges, trails, persecution, and unforeseen events that will cause some to loose faith, and even perish. But we as the Body of Christ must make sure we are rooted (deep-rooted) in our relationship with Christ and not loose hope. We must remember, these things are written, therefore they must come to pass.

I've watched many fall away this year. The most frightening part is that many are unaware that they've fallen. Great deception is everywhere, as Yeshua warned it would be in the last days. But we have to remember that we are not citizens of this life, therefore we cannot allow ourselves to get caught up in the things that we see before us, or even what what don't see. We must buy our gold, linen, and oil from on high. That way we won't be shamed in nakedness, our eyes will be anointed to see (that which He has called us to see), and our treasures are placed where the moth, nor the rust can consume it.

In this season remember do not follow the crowd; follow YHVH-God. Discipline your flesh so that you can learn to hear Him as the still, small voice (as the prophet Elijah had to learn), but also be rooted enough to hear Him in the chaos, and not panic as the disciples did when the storm came upon their boat. They didn't realize that because Yeshua was in the boat with them, everything was going to be alright.

And He said unto me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I would rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. - 2 Corinthians 12:9

In parting ways with an acquaintance a few years ago, I was asked if there was any final advice I could give. I pondered the question for a moment, and then looked directly at them and said, "Find God in everything."

Although it is true that there are many festivities observed during the winter months, it is also a statistical fact that there is an increase in mortality. Death, respectfully, during a season of death. Why do I say this? Well, winter is the season when nature becomes dormant or dies. In fact, according to vital statistics, there are fewer babies born during the winter months than any other season. It is a season of slumber. This is why we find that even in the midst of celebrations, there is always great sorrow.

However, we must remember that even in darkness and death, we can find the true light.

In Isaiah 45:7 the Lord says, "I formed the light and created darkness, I make peace [Shalom] and command the chaos [Ra]; I, the Lord, do all these things."

Simply put; YHVH-God is in control of it all.

So if He is in control of it all, then that means that we can find Him in it all. God is all around us; He is the very air that you breathe. He is a perfect God, searching through an imperfect world, knocking on the doors of hearts; even the ones full of despair. He is Hope. He is Light. He is the Love that heals all wounds, and fills every void.

The Preacher, that is, King Solomon, said in Ecclesiastes 3:1, "To everything there is a season, a time and a purpose under heaven."

There is a meaning and a purpose for every season in our lives. There is an order of things, with every cycle, even when it seems chaotic. God is ever present. He is the still, small voice that can be found when we quiet ourselves before Him. And although during the time of lost it may seem as though the Lord is the furthest, it's actually the opposite; it is when He is the closest.

"The Lord is near to those who are broken-hearted, and saves such as have a contrite spirit." - Psalm 34:18

And just like the dark, dormant months of winter will eventually pass, so too will sorrow. And this will make way for life to spring forth: a new day, a new song. In the beginning YHVH-God calls light out of darkness, life out of a void. The evening and the morning were the first day. Before a child is born, it is knitted in the darkness of it's mother's womb. Then the child comes forth into the light. So it is with the children of the Most High. But we have something even more promising than any earthly encounter; we have the promise of eternity with Him.

"And God shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." - Revelation 21:4

A few years ago I began what I call my "Love Journey." It began with a forty day fast I was led into, in order to obtain the fruit of Love.

At the end of my fast, I received a visitation from the Lord. At one point, Jesus was sitting on a chair, and I was sitting on the floor, at His feet. It was a very intimate moment, yet my mind was racing with a thousand questions to ask Him. In the end, I asked the Lord was there anything I could do for Him. He studied my face for a moment, then responded with this one phrase, "Share my life."

In Matthew 16:24, Jesus says, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me."

In order to understand what Jesus is requiring of us to follow Him, we must first take a look at how He lived. Christ thought nothing of Himself. Although He came as God in the flesh, He took no glory, but gave all glory to the Father. He lived a life of a servant; always willing to give, and bestowing mercy and grace at every chance given. And though He was a man of sorrow, He was not passive. He portrayed truth even unto His death. He fed the hungry, healed the sick, delivered the possessed, defended the helpless, and forgave the sinner. He denied Himself, so that those who believed in Him, would be resurrected in Him.

Yet when we take a look at the average Christian today, most do not even begin to reflect the life of Christ. We become Christians to only later become self-centered and self-righteous. We find ourselves willing to go above and beyond for earthly pleasures and necessities, but will sacrifice only the bare minimum for the edification of our souls. We'll work overtime on a job, because we want the extra money, or to impress our boss, but we won't work overtime to submit to prayer and supplication. We'll spend thousands of dollars on a carnal education, but we won't be humble enough to allow the Holy Spirit to teach us the Word, which is free. We will run around all day fulfilling the duties of man, but when it comes to the things of the Lord, we'll say we're too tired.

Again, Jesus said anyone who is to follow Him, they must first become selfless by denying themselves, and then take up their cross. Yet the church is full of selfish people who only pick up their crosses when it's convenient for them. But have you ever stop and asked yourself; was the time when Christ was afflicted and bore His cross a convenience for Him?

Jesus looked at me and said, "Share my life." And immediately, I was filled with the understanding that I must suffer that the world should not live in me.

We need to ask ourselves, are we truly taking up our crosses to follow Christ at all cost. This commitment means a total denial of self, so that the Spirit of the Living God is glorified in you. And the Spirit of the Lord being glorified through you means that you, like Christ, become the salt of the earth, and the light in the midst of darkness. You are now baring witness to the truth, that Christ is alive, and living in you. This is how we bear fruit. And this is how we begin to obtain the greatest fruit of all; Love.

I recently had an encounter with the Lord that I would like to share with you...

I found myself at the wailing wall in Jerusalem. It was a busy, bright day, and I noticed that I was on the side where the men prayed. Directly in front of me, about ten or eleven yards, stood Jesus. He was at the wall praying. His back was turned towards me, but I recognized Him immediately. He was dressed in a simple linen robe, and wore leather sandals on His feet. Across His shoulders and back, draped a huge tallit (prayer shawl). To His right and left stood Jewish men; some rabbis. They were all praying, some rocking while cupping little prayer books in their hands.

Full of excitement, I called out to the Lord and began walking towards Him. But I was quickly quieted at the thought that someone would notice a woman was on the wrong side of the wall. My walk turned into a light jog as I made my way through the crowd towards Jesus.

As I drew closer, I noticed that a rabbi began to shout to another rabbi about the fact the Jesus' head was not covered with a kippah. The rabbi seemed irritated, and looked around asking for someone to give him a spare kippah for Jesus' head. To the rabbi, Jesus was just a man who had was not properly dressed for prayer. I realized that no one recognized Him.

Finally, a man tossed the rabbi an overly large purple kippah, with a golden Star of David embroidered at the center. The rabbi walked over towards Jesus and slapped the kippah onto His head. Jesus never moved.

I made my way through to the Lord, and stood next to Him at the wall. I was still very excited to see Him. Jesus turned towards me, and I saw great despair on His face. He looked as if He had been crying. Instantly, I connected with His spirit, and I knew He was saddened because no one recognized Him, yet still, a great love radiated from His core. He had been praying for His people, Israel.

Jesus reached out His hand, and we both turned to walk away. As we walked through the crowd, people passed to our left and our right, but no one seem to pay us any mind. I looked at Jesus and asked, "Lord, why do you appear differently to people?"

Jesus took a few more steps, and then turned to me and said, "I reveal myself to people according to their hearts..."

Many times we can get so caught up in the religious routines of life, that we end up missing our core purpose. So many Christians have a preconceived notion of who God is and how He's suppose to manifest Himself in our lives. Some base this on how they grew up, or what their parents taught them, or even what they heard in church. But truly, what man can contain God? How can one mortal being know all the ways of Elohim?

The Pharisees thought they were prepared for the Messiah. They thought they knew what He was supposed to look and sound like. After all, they had studied all the writings of the prophets, and were awaiting the coming King. Yet when He came, they were blinded by their own religion and bias; therefore they missed Him.

The rabbi at the wailing wall did not recognize Jesus; all he saw was a man who did not have proper attire...

In the latter days, the Spirit of the Lord wants to visit us in ways we've never experienced. He wants to expand our walls and reveal the hidden mysteries of His existence. But we must be willing to die to our preconceived notion of who He is and how He's suppose to manifest. We must let Him be the I AM in our lives.

Think about that statement: YHVH said "I AM," not "I was," which means He no longer is; nor did He say "I will be," which means He has yet to come into existence. No, He is the I AM; the ever present God. He is everything, because He owns everything. Your life is already written out. It is already done. He's just asking that you walk with Him in the now, and let His will be done in your life. Now is the time to open your heart so that the Son of Righteousness can reveal Himself to you.

One night I was taken in the spirit, and found myself in a beautifully lit place. I was seated at a wooden round table that could fit, at the most, four people. At the center of the table was a wooden bowl, full of fruit. This particular bowl had all sorts of lush berries in it.

I looked up and saw Jesus sitting directly across from me.

I was so excited to see Him! I then began to look around, and saw that the place was full of other wooden round tables, and they too all had bowls full of fruit, various in type, and all placed at the center of the tables.

I got really excited, and thought to myself, "This is it! We've arrived!"

I stood up as my eyes searched the room looking for familiar faces. Jesus knew my thoughts.

"Sit down" the Lord said in a gentle voice. But my excitement overtook me.

"Lord! This is it! I exclaimed. I need to go get this person, and that person..." I rambled off names of those who I knew and were dear to me.

Again, the Lord spoke, this time with a more stern tone.

"Sit down Mena" He said.

My focus shifted back to Him. I slowly sat back down, never taking my eyes off of Him again. The Lord continued;

"There's no need to go and get anyone. If they bear good fruit, they will be here."

The tone in His voice then shifted and I could see the look of concern on His face.

"The problem with my children is that they are not bearing good fruit. They are seeking that which is earthly, and building their treasures there. Many are only seeking the gifts (1 Cor 12:1-11), which are bound to the first life. They cannot bring it here because there is no need. Only the fruits can be brought into eternity; and the good fruit is the manifestation of my Father's character in their lives."

"Tell them...go and tell my children, that in order to sit at my table, they must bear good fruit."

"And how does one begin to bear that fruit Lord?" I asked almost in a whisper.

"They must first learn to dwell with Me" Jesus answered.

Jesus told us in Matthew 7:19 that the tree that does not bear good fruit is axed down, and thrown into the fire. This represents eternal separation from God, which happens in hell. In Matthew 21:18-22, we find that Jesus cursed a fig tree because it bore no fruit at all, which the scriptures tell us withered away and died.

Jesus uses several illustrations in comparing us to fruit or fruit trees because inside of each fruit lays a seed; and the seed represents salvation.

Once we accept Christ as our Lord and Savior, the seed of salvation is planted in us. In due time that seed is expected to take root, spring forth, and bear fruit in its season. But for those who become stagnant in their walk with Christ (by allowing their flesh to rule), the fruit either is rotted, or is not produced at all.

Later, in Galatians 5:16-26, the Apostle Paul lists the lusts (desires) of the flesh, which we are to avoid, and then he lists the Fruit of the Spirit, which we are to walk in, and therefore live by. Here is the scripture below:

I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and do not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things you wish. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murder, drunkenness, revelries and the like; of which I told you beforehand, just as I told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such, there is no law. And those who are in Christ, have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another. -NKJV

So with this, we need to evaluate ourselves. So many of us that profess to be "Children of God," lack the very characteristics of Him. Children are a reflection of their parents; whether in image or likeness (character), or both. As it is written, If we live in the Spirit, let us walk in the Spirit, meaning that we are not subjecting ourselves to the desires and temptations of this life, which cause us to sin. But we are led by the Holy Spirit; which is the Spirit of the Lord who anoints, convicts, and leads in truth.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 tells us that for everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven.

One of the dilemmas I have come across many times in ministry, is the church's error of season.

Many Christians miss out on breakthroughs, blessings, deliverance, and even spiritual promotion simply because they didn't know the season.

Satan's plot from the beginning has been to distract us so he can rob us. And unfortunately for many, this has been an accomplishment: all the way down to the very calendars we follow; so that we miss our appointed times and seasons.

So many in the church today are caught up with the carnal things surrounding them, that they fail to realize, or merely underestimate the spiritual battle hoovering over their heads. We are fighting when we need to be still, feasting when we need to be preparing, fasting when we need to be sowing, harvesting when we need to be praying, and slumbering when we need to be watching.

And the distractions are growing...

In Hosea 4:6 the Lord states, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge".

Notice that the Lord says "My" people.

In order to understand the season, we must first learn how to be still and listen. This is beyond your regular church services on Sunday, or Saturday, or your prayer meetings, or weekly bible studies. No, I'm talking about learning to dwell in the secret place of the Most High. I'm talking about building your intimate relationship with YHVH-God, and recognizing the voice of The Shepard so that you won't lack.

In Jeremiah 33:3 the Lord says,"Call unto to me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things that thou knowest not".

Many quote that scripture, yet don't live it. In fact, we'll quote many scriptures with our mouths, and will even be quick to correct others with it, yet lack the very fruit that should be produced from living it.

Most only cry out when they're at wits ends, or are in desperate need of something. But if you're in school, and only show up for class once a week, do you really know what's going on? How can one expect to pass the test if you have no depth of what the teacher has taught and prepared the class for in that time frame, or season?

If you don't know the season, you will fail the test.

Because the Israelites didn't recognize their season, a three and a half days' journey turned into a forty-year chastisement, and a whole generation died in the wilderness.

We are in the season when the remnant will rise. But not everyone who is in the church, is a part of the remnant. Not every preacher/prophet/teacher/evangelist/apostle you see on television, listen to on the radio, watch on YouTube, or who wrote the book you read, is a part of the Bride. Remember, even out of the ten virgins who were awaiting the Bridegroom, only five entered in.

Seek the Lord this day, so you will know the season that you're in, and prepare accordingly. Do not get so caught up in the things and cares of this life, or even its blessings, that you end up missing being caught up to meet the Lord in the air.

One night while in prayer, the Lord spoke to me and said, "My children treat me like an idol."

It was odd to hear this, considering that it had nothing to do with what I was praying about at that moment. I thought of the first two commandments, and then tried to ponder what He was saying. I then proceeded to ask the Lord how was this possible.

"Think of an idol" the Lord continued.

I thought of an idol. The first thing that came to mind was Buddha. It seemed to be an easy one. After all, I always saw statues of this dude in the nail salons.

"How do people pray to Buddha?" the Lord asked.

"Well, I've seen them use food, and incense, and candles, and all sorts of stuff, Lord."

"When they are finished praying to it, what do they do?"

"Um....they leave?" I answered, perplexed at the Lord's questions.

"Why do they leave?" the Lord asked.

"Because they said Amen? Um...because they're finished?"

"Why do they leave?" the Lord asked for a second time.

"Because the person is finished with their prayer or request?" I said, doubting my own answer at this point.

A third time, He asked "Why do they leave?"

By now I knew I was answering wrong. So instead of continuing, I decided to reverse the question.

"Lord, I don't know! Why do they leave?"

"They leave because they never expect the idol to answer them" He responded.

The Lord continued; "My children treat me like an idol made of wood, stone, or metal. These things are dead. They have no life. They cannot respond. But I AM life. Yet, my children pray at me, instead of to me. Once they are finished, they quickly leave because in their heart, they don't expect me to respond."

I was immediately convicted. I knew that I was guilty of this in my own life. I began to repent to the Lord of treating Him as such.

Too many times, we don't consider that although God is spirit, He has feelings. We even more forget that Christ is a person, who again, has feelings. In fact, the very reason why you feel is because we, as mankind, were created not just in the image of God, but also after His likeness - which means; His character and personality.

In Psalm 40:1, the psalmist, David, said; I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined to me, and heard my cry.

Here, the key note is that he waited patiently. So often we are not patient with the Lord. We live in a society where we want everything now; we've been conditioned to only follow our senses. Yet, in this process, we fail to realize that this form of living goes completely against faith.

Faith is the substance of things we hope for, and then becomes the evidence of what we can't see. And without faith, it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:1,6).

Understand this: it takes faith just to believe in God, and to build a relationship with Him. It takes faith to believe that the God who created all things, the God who called you by name before the foundations of the earth, the One who knitted you together in the secret of your mother's womb, is the same God who will answer you...IF, you wait patiently for Him.

A couple of nights ago I was taken into the spirit. I found myself sitting in a doorway. This doorway was ancient and actually didn't contain a door. Before me was an radiant light that brought forth peace, but I was well aware that behind me laid darkness.

A voice came from the light and began to speak to me; it was the Lord.

He said, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High..."

He paused.

I then responded with, "Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty."

The Lord continued; "The key word is dwell. The problem with the church is that they are not dwelling. I chose to become flesh, and dwelt among flesh for the purpose of redemption. But the church will not dwell with me. They will come to me, they will ask of me, but they will not dwell with me."

I pondered on what the Lord was saying, and began to evaluate my own self.

"The only way I can protect the church from the accuser and from judgement is that they abide in my presence. I cast no shadow. The shadow mention by the psalmist is my presence. A shadow covers. I cover, protect and comfort those who abide in my presence. But one cannot know my presence if they do not first dwell with me."

The vision ended.

The word dwell in Hebrew is "yashab" meaning to live, to remain, to inhabit.

So in other words, we must live and remain with Him; we can't just be visitors. But many in the church today, only visit the Lord. We stop by here and there, when it's convenient, or when we are in need of something. We ring the doorbell of heaven, stand in the doorway and make our requests, saying a few hallelujahs and amens, and then be on our way. But the Lord is seeking more. He is seeking those who want to live with Him on a continual basis; those who never want to leave His presence, His will, His truth, His shalom. Many of us claim that this is what we want, and others dare to claim that this is what they have; but ask yourself; "Do I truly live in His presence?"

Psalm 91 is called the "Covenant of Protection". It is the promise that God will cover us during times of trouble; that in Him we will find refuge. But the promise of this psalm opens up with a requirement: the call to dwell with Him.

Now as Jannes and Jambres resisted Moses, so these also resist the truth; men of corrupt minds, disapproved concerning the faith; but they will progress no further, for their sin will be manifested to all, as theirs also was. - 2 Timothy 3:8-9

Jannes and Jambres are known as the two magicians that contended with Moses and Aaron in Egypt. When Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, it became a serpent, just as the Lord had spoken. Pharaoh had his sorcerers to also cast down their rods, and they too, became serpents. But the bible tells us that Aaron's serpent swallowed up the sorcerers' serpents as a sign to all, that the God of Israel was above all gods (Exodus 7:10-12).

Today, Jannes and Jambres represent the spirit of the false church; and leading the false church are false teachers and false prophets. It is a spirit of sorcery.

In Matthew 24:24 Jesus tells us that in the last days, many false teachers and prophets would arise and would preform signs and wonders. He lets us know that the signs would be so close to the real thing, that even the elect would be deceived, if it were possible.

We live in a society, especially here in the west, where we thrive off of signs and wonders; in fact, we've become dependent on it. This is not to say that signs and wonders are not of God; this is not true. But many in the church are always looking for a sign or a prophecy to be given to them, instead of seeking the face of the Lord, knowing His voice for themselves, and obeying Him. Jesus told the Pharisees that a wicked and perverse generation looks for a sign, but none would be given to them (Matthew 16:4).

One of the things the Lord told me a couple of years ago, is that we are busy looking for God in man, who is flawed, instead of actually seeking God Himself. And because of this, people flock to every prophetic conference, impartation, and healing service, like an after-Christmas sale at Wal-Mart. This gives way for the false spirit to be employed in the churches. And because many have not spent time dwelling in the secret place of the Most High, to recognize His true presence and anointing, they are succumbing to the spirit of Jannes and Jambres.

In the midst of church meetings and conferences today, there are three types of spirits: first there are those who are true men and women of God, anointed, and led by the Holy Spirit. Next, there are those who started off walking by the Spirit of truth, but because of the lure of profit, power and popularity, they've fallen away, and are now led by familiar spirits. Finally, there are those who are wolves, serpents, and foxes in sheep's clothing, that have been assigned by Satan to divide and destroy the church.

We must learn to discern the familiar spirit; the spirit of Jannes and Jambres, so we are not deceived. The only way to do this is to test the spirit by the Holy Spirit, and to draw nigh unto the Lord so that He will purify your mind, heart and soul. The time is coming where the Lord will remove the scales from the eyes of the blind and uncover the plans of the enemy. This will manifest through a great shaking that is coming (and has already begun), and through this shaking, only the unshakable things will remain; those who are in the perfect will of the One who is unshakable; Christ.

Thus says the Lord of hosts, "Behold, evil is going forth from nation to nation, and a great storm is being stirred up from the remotest parts of the earth." - Jeremiah 25:32

When a meteorologist sees a storm coming in the near future, they begin reporting to the public so that the people can prepare. And as the time for the storm draws closer, the data becomes more and more precise. Within that time, it is advised to take the proper precautions to make sure that the people are safe; whether it's stocking up on food and water, gas, batteries, or candles; or maybe it's advised to evacuate all together. But we know that the closer it gets to the storm's arrival, the less time you have to prepare. Then there comes a point where the storm has arrived, and the alarms begin to sound. Wherever you're at, that's it! No more time to prepare...it's time to go!

America, the alarm is sounding...

Jesus said in Matthew 24:38-39, that the last days would be that of the days of Noah. He said, "For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them away. So shall the coming of the Son of Man be."

The Lord, in His mercy, gives us signs as warnings, and even confirmations of the seasons which we are in. Have you noticed all the historic flooding that has taken place in 2016?

I found it interesting that in the beginning of 2015, the Lord gave me a word titled, The Storm is Coming. I began to warn America of impending judgement due to our refusal to repent. Several weeks ago, the Lord gave me a vision; this time He said, "The Storm is Here..."

Since last Rosh Hashanah (Sept. 2015), until now, God has searched the hearts of those who claim Him as Lord. He has searched our motives to see if we are truly eager for His return, and awaiting, or is the desire of our hearts merely earth bound.

The truth is, many in the church have fallen asleep. They have crawled into their coffins, fluffed their pillows, and closed the casket doors. Many were expecting cataclysmic events to unfold last September, as was foreseen in dreams and visions. But when things did not unfold as expected, many began to attack and curse those who had sounded the alarm. Months later, that same majority began to place their faith and hope in a new election. Two-thirds of the church began a near full-blown worship of a presidential hopeful, believing that good times would return once again, despite our continual decay of truth and morality. And it seemed as though all the warnings from the modern-day Jeremiahs, Ezekiels, and Elijahs had faded into the distant horizon.

Oh foolish church, hast thou forgotten the parable of the wicked servant, who because his master had delayed, began to mistreat his fellow servants? Did not the master of the house return at an hour that he least expected? (Luke 12:45-46) It is not also written that when they say, "peace" and "safety" that sudden destructive would fall upon them? (1 Thessalonians 5:3) And just like the people in the time of Noah, judgement will come at an hour that you least expect.

Saints, the door to the ark is closing. The lukewarm are being vomited out of the Body of Christ. The time has come when you are either for Him, or you are against Him. No more gray areas. No more building your treasures in this life. To be a friend to the world, is to be an enemy of God (James 4:4). Understand that God is Holy, and He requires you to live Holy (1 Peter 1:16). It's not a suggestion, it's a must. Christ is only coming for the pure in heart; for those who have washed their robes and made them clean before Him.

There will be a final awakening in America; but it will be parallel with catastrophe, not good times. And only those who have remained faithful, those who have been refined, will be the front-runners in the final move. God will preserve His own, so that they can lead others through the darkness, and into the light.

Be ready. Stay Alert. Look Up.

Shalom

One of the things that has plagued the church today is what I call the "Inbred Christian". What is meant by this? It happens when a church, congregation or an individual believer has no more relation to the outside world, but instead has its own "Christian Churchy Culture". When believers do this, they end up segregating themselves from the very world that needs their influence the most. And what one doesn't know is that you can get so into the "Christian culture", that you can actually lose your connection with the Spirit of the Lord, miss your purpose, and eventually become weaker.

See, if you’re not stepping out and taking new ground for the Lord, advancing the Gospel and sharing it with unbelievers, you are at risk of becoming an inbred Christian. Why did YHVH-God eventually ban inbreeding in the Torah? Because genetically it led to weakened immune systems, which made one to be more vulnerable to diseases, and if you're diseased, you cannot survive.

If you keep a child in a dirt and germ free environment for years, what will happen once that child visits the outside world? They will become deathly ill because their body will not know how to cope and fight off infection. The same thing happens with us the spirit realm. The Lord did not call us out of darkness, into the light to only stay in the light. What's the point? Do you go home at night and turn on every light in the house to see? What is the benefit of a hundred lights being in the same room? None. But if you turn on one light in the midst of the darkness, well then, now it's worth goes a long way. When you only hang out with the light, you can forget where you came from and what the whole point was. Jesus tells us that the whole point of being the light of the world is so that our light shines before men that the Father will be glorified (Matthew 5:14-16). See Christ was the light that shine in the darkness (John 1:4-5); this was His purpose of coming. But the Pharisees couldn't comprehend this, and they criticized Him for mingling with the poor, the sick, whores, tax collectors, murders, drunks and the Gentiles. They missed the point; it was for the sick that He came; for those who had lost their way in the dark. He was and is the light that shines in the darkness so that those who are lost can now see their way. It’s the fallow ground that bears the most fruit. Fruit trees next to fruit trees are not going to get picked. The fruit will eventually rot and fall to the ground; a waste.

It's time to come out of our "inbred" state of mind. Instead of sitting around the table debating about denominations, feasts, Sabbaths, my church, my pastor, race, which you should eat or drink, or how should you clothe yourselves, we should be out in the field, reaping the harvest; reaching "The Least of These" mentioned in Matthew 25:31-46. Get out of your comfort zone and begin transforming the areas that have not been touched yet. The Spirit of the Lord cannot be exercised to its fullest in your life while in a comfort zone.
For Thus Saith the High and lofty One that inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy; "I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones". -Isaiah 57:15

The word 'inhabits" in Hebrew is 'shakan', which means to lodge, stay or dwell; to camp out in a tent. YHVH-God sets up His tent in eternity; for He owns eternity. When we set up a tent here on earth, we do it all at once; in that moment of time and space. But God's tent spans across eternity. In Him, all eternity, past, present and future, are as one. All of our time in this in between thing called life, is covered by the presence of Almighty God.

The Lord continues in this scripture by saying that He dwells in the high and holy place; with those who have a contrite (which means repentant or chastened) and humble spirit. So the One who inhabits eternity is saying that those who are humble and repentant will also dwell with Him, and He with them...in eternity. Psalm 91:1 tells us that "he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High, shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty". Both Isaiah 57:15 and Psalm 91:1 are interconnected. In order to dwell with and in the presence of the Almighty, you must come up to the high and holy place. And His place, His tent, covers all things; but you must come up. You cannot dwell in the low and dark places where the dirt and creatures lie; you must come up! You must come up to where the eagles soar and nest. And how do you get there? With a repentant heart and a humbled spirit. There, you will find Him; there is where you will find rest...His Shalom, and He said, there, is where He will revive you.

Have you allowed the sins of your past to hold you captive? Have you allowed your circumstances to define your present and your future? Go to the high and holy place; and instead of allowing life, people and the enemy to define you, let God Almighty define you; let Him set you free, for He came to set the captive free. YHVH-God is greater than your past, present and future because He is a part of your past, present and future. So do not fear what your physical eyes see, or cannot see; trust the one who gave you sight in the first place, and know that He is already there. He has already set up a tent over your eternity...so abide in Him.

It's interesting that at the same time, every year, the same people come out of their caves and from underneath their rocks, stretching their wings; the Sadducees, the Pharisees and the Atheists.

If the "Holiday Season" was so evil, then why has Satan worked so hard to have it removed, discredited, abolished or persecuted? Last time I checked, the scriptures stated that Satan will not come against Satan.

Personally, this is my favorite time of the year. For me, it is another opportunity to give thanks for all that the Father has given, and to share with the lost the reason why Christ came into the world. I have found that more souls have come to Christ in sharing the story of His reason, then condemning those for celebrating it for mere argument of it's inaccuracy in date. I've always stood on "to each, it's own" and as individuals filled with the Holy Spirit, we must obey our convictions. I, for instance, have never had a Christmas tree in my home. My children don't even know what that's like. But I grew up with them in my parent's house, and it didn't make my mother any less of a powerful woman of God, than she is today. So dare I walk into a home of another believer, or unbeliever and condemn them for such? Who am I? Perhaps the most important question is; does it determine one's salvation? The answer is no.

Last night, I asked my kids what did they want to do, or where did they want to go for the Holiday Season. Their response was that they wanted to find families who couldn't afford a Christmas for their children, and bless them. So we agreed to find families this year, preferably unbelievers, so that we can share the love of Christ and minister His word while physically filling a void.

Remember; Christ condemns no one. Always obey the voice of the Lord for yourself, because only you will stand before Him. Educate those who lack knowledge; don't ridicule, slander, reject or condemn; this is not love. More importantly, remember that you were not called out of darkness into the light to only hang out in the light. You were brought into to light so that His light in you will be taken back into the darkness to shine. What value does light have with light? None. It is the light that shines in the darkness that brings forth life. So take every opportunity to make a difference. Time is short; the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.

Romans 5:19-21 Because one person disobeyed God, many became sinners. But because one other person obeyed God, many will be made righteous. God’s law was given so that all people could see how sinful they were. But as people sinned more and more, God’s wonderful grace became more abundant. So just as sin ruled over all people and brought them to death, now God’s wonderful grace rules instead, giving us right standing with God and resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

The scriptures tell us that all things work together for good to those who love God, and to those who are the called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). But in Matthew 4:1, we are told that the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the wilderness to be tested by the devil. So does this mean that Satan plays an important role in fulfilling our purpose? Absolutely!

We need to know that the Father uses all things; even that which is evil, for His good purpose. YHVH-God is in control of all things, and everything is under His control. In Isaiah 45:7, the Lord says, "I formed the light, and created the darkness. I make peace (Shalom) and create chaos (Ra)." So even Satan is used by YHVH-God, because He created him as well. Satan is not a creator, he is the creation; which means he has an end, for all creation will come to an end. So we need not to fear that which has an end. Fear and reverence the one who is constant and eternal.

Jesus was lead into the wilderness to be tested by Satan. This was done so that He would come out of it approved for ministry. So the purpose of coming face-to-face with the enemy was to prepare Christ for His purpose and ministry. Thus, we can conclude that YHVH-God used even the devil to prepare His Son.

We as Saints must know that in life, we WILL be attacked by the enemy; we will go through trails, tribulations and temptations, just like Christ did (in fact, the very reason Christ is our perfect mediator and High Priest to the Father is because He faced all of the same trails and testings as we do, yet He did not sin -Hebrews 4:15). However, know that YHVH-God will use all of these things, even the attacks of the enemy, for your purpose, and for the good. He will use these things to make you grow, to conform you to His image, and to prepare you for the ministry and the purpose that He has placed in you.

So when you go through trials, tribulations, or tests, remember it’s not to destroy you. It is there for your refinement, and purification. Remember; God is faithful. He will not allow the test to be more than you can bear (1 Corinthians 10:13). If you're being faced with it, then He has already equipped you with all that you need to get through it. So pass the test. It is written; "And they overcame the devil by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; they that loved not their lives, even unto death (Revelation 12:11). Every ministry begins with a testimony; and the testimony begins with you passing the test.

Many in the Body of Christ (not just those in the church), have noticed a spike in trails, tribulations and testing in the past month or two. Many are battling in their homes, on their jobs, in marriages, with their children, in their communities, and even within the church. We're seeing an increase in persecution that in some cases have come from the very ones that we break bread with. This has pushed many of us further into our prayer closets, deeper into worship, and even inspired more of us to fast.

So what is happening? Even I found myself in a sabbatical during the month of August, asking the Lord what in the world was going on in the spirit realm. A little over a week ago, the Spirit of the Lord fell heavy on me in the bathroom, and He began speaking to me. This is what He said;

"I am allowing my children to go through the fire; the refining fire. I am removing the gray areas, and those who dwell in it. The time of separation is at hand; the separation from the wheat and the tares, the sheep and the goats, the wise from the foolish. Those who embrace my refining fire will be moved to the light. But those who resist will be placed in the darkness. I AM the consuming fire, says The Lord of Hosts. Either you are for me, or you are against me. Those who are tried and refined as gold and silver, will give birth in the new season; the season of my holy fire."

We are living in perilous times saints. Things are not going to get better; they will continue to get worst. But we, as the Body of Christ have been chosen for a time such as this. Which means that we are equipped with what it takes to shine through the darkness. You will continue see people fall away. These people may even be the very ones that you love the most. But even then, you cannot allow yourself to be distracted. Peter walked on water, until he allowed what was happening around him to distract him, and then he instantly began to sink. We must not take our eyes off of Christ NO MATTER WHAT! The Spirit of the Lord is hovering; and He is trying hearts to see who will stand no matter what the circumstances.

The time is coming, and behold, is here now, when you will be locked in spiritually. This is why the Lord is testing hearts and trying by fire. In Revelation 22:10-12, the Lord confirms this time by saying,

"Do not seal the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is at hand. He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; and he who is holy, let him be holy still. And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work."

Allow the Lord to purge you. I know it hurts, but it is better to loose everything in this dimension, space and time, to gain everything in the next. Because in the next life; which is eternity, no one can ever take it away from you. No moths or rust can touch it. And there will be no more pain, or sorrow, death or struggle. And He will wipe away the tears from every eye.

Be Encouraged!

Shalom

Regarding the theory; "Once Saved, Always Saved" or "No Christian Will Miss The Rapture" and "There are No Christians in Hell"

Well, let's look at the scriptures:

Jesus said; Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ -Matthew 7:21-23

Who was Jesus talking to? Obviously it wasn't a heathen, or a atheist, or a Muslim. Since when do they acknowledge Christ as "Lord"? What atheist is going to prophesy in His name? What Hindu, Buddhist or Muslim is going to cast our demons in His name? None. The word "lord" means master; so that means that one would have to deem Jesus Christ as master and ruler of their life in order to call Him Lord. In the end, everyone will confess (Romans 14:11); but right now, we have a choice. So we can conclude that Jesus is referencing to those who believe in Him.

Jesus said; “And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write,
These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God: “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked. -Revelation 3:14-17

We are currently living in the Church age of Laodicea. Unfortunately, about ninety percent of churches today fall in the category of being lukewarm. Jesus once again is clear; He said that He would "vomit them out of His mouth", which the revelation to that is that they will be removed from the Body; considering that Christ is the head, and we are the Body (Colossians 1:18).

Jesus continues; And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut. Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’ “Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming. -Matthew 25:10-13

Ah! One of my favorite comparisons; the ten virgins. See, all ten were virgins; meaning they had "chasten" themselves (remained pure) for the Bridegroom (Christ). All ten have lamps, representing the light or Spirit of God dwelling in them. But only five had extra oil. The oil from on high is what keeps the light aflame. The oil represents communion with the Lord; in other words, relationship.
Notice that the Bridegroom tells the five foolish; "I do not know you." He also says this to the believers in Matthew 7:23.

I've taught for years that it's not enough to just "obtain" a relationship with the Lord; you have to also "maintain" it. Too many Christians today do not know the voice of the Lord, and therefore are tossed to and fro by false prophets, teachers and the cares of the world. Be still, and Know That He is GOD (Psalm 46:10) Wait patiently on the Lord, and He will answer you (Psalm 40:1, 37:7). Jesus said; "My sheep know my voice" (John 10:27).

I know many try to justify this notion by using other scriptures written by Paul, or Peter etc. But who's words are greater? It's the ones written in RED.

Jesus said; "But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Matthew 6:20-21

The Lord spoke to me in the wee hours of this morning and began to give me a deeper revelation about this scripture.

Too many Christians today are building their treasures in this dimension. Most claim that they aren't, but when you take a closer look, you find that on a whole, they do. The Lord also tied in this scripture to the first one; "Every tree that brings not forth good fruit is axed down, and cast into the fire." Matthew 7:19

Christians are taught to focus on the "gifts" of the Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:8-10), instead of the Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23), when Jesus clearly stated the the tree that bears no fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire, not the tree that bears no gifts. Yet the gifts have become the main focus in the churches. The scriptures tell us that gifts come without repentance (Romans 11:29) and do not determine your relationship with the Lord, nor guarantee your seat at the marriage supper of The Lamb.

I see way too many churches, groups, leaders and saints promoting the gifts instead of promoting communion with The Lover of our soul. 1 Corinthians 13:8 tells us that the gifts will pass away, but that love will remain. There will be no need for prophesy, miracles, tongues, healing, etc in heaven. Heaven is complete and perfect. The gifts of the Spirit are given for this life as a sign to the unbeliever, and for our edification. But once this life passes away, these things will be irrelevant. However the Word of God tells us that the fruit will remain. The is because the Fruit of the Spirit is from heaven, apart YHVH-God Himself, and therefore crosses over into eternity with Him. It is written that Love is the greatest of these because YHVH-God is Love! The Fruit of the Spirit is not a gift (which the gifts are free; all you need to do is ask), but have to be earned through refinement. In the end, the fruit produces the rewards of gold, silver and precious gems when we stand before the Lord on that day. Therefore, the Lord revealed to me that seeking after only the gifts, is a type of building your treasures in this life, because we cannot take them into eternity.

In Revelation 3:14-22, the Church of Laodicea claimed that they had everything, yet Jesus indicated that they were poor, blind, naked and wretched, and advised them to buy His gold that had been refined with the pure fire. The Church of Laodicea, which is the lukewarm church is like unto those who Christ spoke about in Matthew 7:21-23, when He said that not everyone who calls Him "Lord" will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. They too, thought they had everything needed. They talked about how they prophesied, cast out demons, and healed the sick, which are all gifts; but in the end, Jesus said He didn't know them.

Jesus commanded that we Love (see, there's that fruit again) the Lord, our God, with all of our heart, soul and mind, and then love our neighbor as ourselves (Matthew 22:37). Through this we draw close to Him, and are able to not only obtain, but maintain that relationship with Him; the relationship that causes Him to "know us." This is our key into the Kingdom of Heaven. Christ is coming for a Bride, and you don't marry someone that you don't know.

Although the Lord has used me in many ways; to reach many people over the years, I am by far, from perfect. In my ministry, I always share not only my testimonies, but my trails, my failures, and my rebukes. I do this because I always tell the people; "I don't want you to be like me, I want you to be better than me; I want you to be like Christ." I never want anyone to think that I am better then them, or that they must "honor" me. I am human, like everyone else; subject to failure and reproof. My calling in the office of a prophet does not make me "superhuman." However, it does put me in the spotlight of God, and weighs heavy in the balances of The Kingdom; it weighs heavy in judgement for not representing YHVH-God in the purest form. It's task is to forsake all, to turn the other cheek, and to walk alone.

With that being said; I will share with you about a time that I disappointed the Lord.

At the very beginning of 2014, I had been bugging the Lord to come and visit me. It had been months since I last saw Him. We talked all of the time, but after seeing Him so often, you kinda get spoiled. The funny thing between the Lord and I is that He would never come to me when I asked. He would always wait until my requests became quiet, and I returned back to my normal routine; then He would show up. Sometimes I would laugh and tell Him that I knew it was His way of letting me know that I was under His control. So this time was no different. I had been knocking at heaven's gate for about 30 days, and there was no answer. So I figured He was busy, or on a very extended lunch (just kidding), and decided to stop my pursuit. Well, about a week later, He showed up.

Jesus stood there in the most beautiful robe I had ever seen Him in. The material was like a combination of silk and satin. It was a beautiful white, and at the hems were a beautiful, deep red embroidery. He had on leather sandals; which was different for me because I usually see Him barefooted. I stood at His side with both of my arms wrapped around His waist. He had one arm around my shoulders, holding me close to Him. We began to talk spirit to spirit. We always had small conversations, because Jesus doesn't talk much. He showed me a map, and gave me a few instructions. Then He said; "There's just one more thing..." "What's that Lord?" I asked inquisitively. The Lord responded, "I'm going to show you hell." My heart instantly sank! "No Lord, please...please. I don't want to go!" I pleaded with Him. But Jesus just reached over and kissed me on my forehead and said, "Don't worry, I will be with you." Then we both looked to our left, and far away I saw something brewing...it looked like a tornado made of snow. The Lord said; "There is a blizzard coming. After the blizzard passes, I will come back for you." And with that, He vanished.

I told my husband and a few others about my visitation. I was so terrified, I spent every night praying that the Lord would change His mind. I whined, I complained, and had a complete meltdown like a two-year old. I was like; "Why do I always have to see the bad things? I've had more attacks, and seen more demons than probably anybody! Why can't you show me heaven? You haven't taken me there! I've read every book on hell, I listened to every testimony, I've looked at every video. I know hell is real! And I don't want to go there....not even for a visit!" Thoughts kept flashing through my mind of what Mary Katheryn Baxter went through; how she went through periods of getting left there. I didn't want that to happen to me! What if I had forgotten to repent of something that day, and ended up getting left there....forever?

About four weeks went by. Somewhere in between the period, the D.C metro area (where we were living at that time) got about 2-3 inches of snow. My husband asked; "Are you sure the Lord said a blizzard was coming? Or did he just say after the next snowfall?" "Nope, He said a blizzard was coming!" I responded. And sure enough, at the fourth week, the blizzard came, and we got 3 feet of snow!

Every night after that snow, I cringed going to sleep. But the days, turned into weeks, and the weeks, turned into months, but Jesus did not return for me. Within that time, He was still showing me things and giving me prophesies. I was putting out videos, still teaching His word, ministering to people and leading souls into the Kingdom. Soon the thought of visiting hell faded. I was even asked by my aunt; "What ever happen regarding you visiting hell?" I giggled and said; "Girl, I think I prayed that one away!"

In August of 2014, I had the most spectacular experience! I was caught up in the spirit and taken to see the throne room of God (you can read about that experience in my notes titled; "My Throne Room Experience"). I shared that experience with everyone I knew! It brought great joy to my soul that the Lord had allowed me to see such a magnificent place.

Then in January of this year (2015), I was in deep prayer one afternoon. I had my tallit (prayer shawl) over my head, and the glory cloud began to fill my room. Immediately. like a movie being played, I saw the visitation of the Lord when He said He would take me into hell. "Oh my! I completely forgot about that! Lord, you never came back for me...why?" The Lord responded, "That so disappointed me, Mena. You tell me that you trust me with your very life. You believe me for your family, for yourself, and for those I send to you. But you did not trust me when I said I would take you into hell. You did not trust when I said I would be with you. You feared more the thing that I created and have all power over, than trusting me. Therefore, you trusted power of darkness more than light." I...was...stunned! I bowed my head to the floor in total shame and repented. "Lord..." I sobbed, "You waited a whole year to say something to me about this...why?" "Because now, you would receive it." the Lord responded. It was then that I realized that the Lord, even in His disappointment, had answered my very complaint and whine; He had allowed me to see heaven first. What an merciful, patient, loving, and gentle God! I felt like a worm, yet, I could still feel His love and patience for me. He had forgiven me.

I'm sharing this with you because I want everyone to evaluate the "true" measure of faith and trust you claim to have for the Lord. We're so quick to say with our mouths that we trust Him, that we'll forsake all and follow Him, even that we'll die for Him. But do we truly follow through? Or when we are faced with a situation that we're not sure of the outcome, do we deny Him? Peter said he would follow Jesus to the ends of the earth, but when the shepherd was stuck, the sheep scattered, and before the cock crowed, Peter denied three times that he even knew the Lord. We must understand that following Christ will require facing our greatest fears. He will place you at that crossroad, to see if you will chose to trust what you can or cannot see before you, or will you trust the one who gave you sight in the first place.
